Derek De Beer, a world-renowned master drummer was born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and presently resides in Ottawa, Canada, ​where he inspires people through his motivational speaking and drumming circles. He has captured the ​hearts ​of audiences world-wide through a 40 year career touring with artists such as Johnny Clegg, Bruce Springsteen, ​Peter Gabriel, Sting, Tracy Chapman and Robert Palmer, amongst others.
